Hiking until your socks start to burn!
The Sciliar mountain area and the Alpe di Siusi high mountain pasture offer hikers and mountain climbing fans all that their hearts could desire: hiking trails totalling 300 km, 200 km of mountain-bike tracks and 365 mountain huts and refuges. Many of these mountain huts welcome hikers and bikers, inviting you to stop for some needed rest and a bite to eat. Besides the leisurely walks and hikes, there are also challenging hikes, via ferrata chain-assisted climbs, exciting excursions to the summits – all amidst the unspoiled nature and with sunshine aplenty!
Golf a San Vigilio
Our hotel in Castelrotto offers ideal accommodation to golfers. Just a 5 min drive away from us, the 18-hole San Vigilio Siusi golf course lies in a magnificent natural setting, beneath the Dolomites. Small lakes, deep mountain gorges, gushing torrents interspersed with waterfalls, and the omnipresent panoramic views – all make golfing here an experience like no other.
By the end of your game, you’ll have traversed quite a number of metres in altitude!
After golfing all day, you can reward yourself with a taste of our special gourmet cuisine – paired with excellent local wines from South Tyrol, as well as the rest of Italy.

Nordic Walking: more than just walking
Nowadays, it seems that Nordic walking is all the rage – and it’s not without good reason: suited to all age groups, pole-walking improves heart function and circulation, activating 80% of muscles in the body. In summer, the Alpe di Siusi Ski School offers a programme of Nordic Walking courses.
