Our cuisine
At the Hotel Zum Turm in the historic centre of Castelrotto, you’ll discover the perfect setting for the degustation of major (and minor) culinary delights. The restaurant at our long-established hotel caters to traditional South Tyrolean hospitality in an old farmhouse that dates back to 1880.
In our restaurant, you’ll have a taste of our special Tyrolean cuisine, with typical delights such as Schlutzkrapfen, Knödl and Tyrolean Goulash, in addition to classic Italian and International platters. Starting the day with a rich breakfast buffet, we serve a choice of homemade cakes, with tea, fragrant coffee or home-made juices on the sun terrace. When deciding which wines to pair with the evening meals, our well-stocked wine-cellar has much to offer.

Our guest’s dining experience
Getting off to a good start with a rich and salubrious breakfast buffet, in the evening, we serve a 3-course gourmet dinner at our Hotel Zum Turm restaurant. Throughout the day, you can snack on homemade pastries, cakes and savoury snacks, including our classic Brettljause cold cuts and cheese platter served in the congenial Garden Café.

Typical regional culinary specialities and genuine hospitality steeped in a deep sense of tradition are hallmarks of the member establishments that form part of the South Tyrolean Inns Association. Together with more than 30 other traditional establishments in South Tyrol, the Zum Turm contributes to the promotion and preservation of age-old innkeeping traditions.

Tyrolean Parlour
In our wood-panelled Tyrolean „stube“ dating from 1880, you’ll experience true South Tyrolean inn culture in an authentic setting. Wooden flooring, period paintings hanging on the old walls and other decorations all help to create the right atmosphere – for epicurean enjoyment!
Restaurant
The refined ambience in our well-lit à la carte restaurant creates the right setting for a gourmet dinner. Meticulously laid tables are as much a part of the ritual as serving our guests.
Garden Café
With its inviting sun terrace, our Garden Café is the ideal corner for relaxation – especially after a strenuous day in the outdoors. If it rains, the awning comes out to provide shelter.
